The Great Hurricane of 1900 that hit Galveston, Texas, was one of the deadliest in our history. Almost 6,000 people died..even tho no one knows for sure.. in that storm that Cuba warned was coming to no avail. That storm had passed over Cuba and they alerted that it was headed into the Gulf n to be aware. But, who was listening to Cuba? No one. Needless to say, it changed history.
