Tucker Carlson Freaks Out After Republican Chair Mentions His Son - Ring of Fire

Some nasty and very petty stuff is taking place behind the scenes with the Republican Party right now, and Tucker Carlson is the one fanning the flames. According to reports, an the office NRCC Chair Rep. Jim Banks made a comment about a Republican rival hiring Tucker Carlson's son Buckley to be his communications director at just 24-years old. THAT'S IT. And that was all it took to make Carlson call up Banks' office and demand to know who made that statement. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins talks about this ridiculous drama.

Tucker Carlson is furious, ladies and gentlemen. Apparently, a report from the Daily Beast late last week said that Republican representative Tom Emmer, who happens to serve as the chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee, the N R C C, apparently a member of his staff told the Daily Beast that another Republican member of the House, Jim Banks, was just trying to schmooze, you know, the hardcore righties by hiring Tucker Carlson's, 24 year old son, Buckley, to be his communications director. And Tucker Carlson got furious. Tucker Carlson, according to the new reports, made a phone call to em, the chair of the N rcc, and asked him either reveal which staff member took a swipe at Carlson's son at Capitol Hill Aid, or the Fox host would assume him himself was to blame for the quote, I'm sorry, that's actually a quote from Axios, not from Tucker Carlson, but Tucker Carlson made the phone call to EM'S office, said, You tell me right now who made that comment about my boy? Or I'm gonna assume it was you talking bad about poor little Buckley. Now, here's the thing, what I said like, Hey, look, Jim Banks, and then this is, you know, the paraphrasing of the person at ER's office. Jim Banks hired Tucker Carlson's son because he is trying to kiss up to those people.

Is that really an attack on Buckley Carlson? Like if you're Buckley Carlson and you hear somebody say that about you, where you gonna go home crying to daddy like, Daddy, they're right in front of me. Or you gonna be like, You guys are stupid, whatever, That, that's not an attack. I mean, if you were to go after Buckley and be like, Yeah, look at him, he's got a stupid haircut, like that's an insult. This, this is nothing. But apparently it was enough for Tucker Carlson to call a sitting member of Congress, who of course decided to immediately take his call, right? He wasn't going to ignore Tucker. And I think that's a whole nother issue. We need to have a bigger discussion about. Sometime he took the call, Carlson yells at him, he sits there and takes it to the point where the NRCC has to come out and release this com, uh, comment saying that ER's not to blame, that the quote, baseless accusations are meant to distract and divide Republicans. Our focuses on retaking the majority and firing Nancy Pelosi. So the entire n c is basically bowing down to Tucker Carlson right now, scared of his wrath because somebody said that Buckley Carlson got a job that, I'm sorry, at 24 years old, you're really probably not that qualified for, you know, Oh, oh, no, no. Am I gonna get

A, a call from Tucker Carls and, Oh God, listen, working on Capitol Hill as a staff member is no small feat. There's a lot of people that have basically made their entire careers out of being AIDS for members of Congress. And if you've been there long enough, it's a very lucrative job, right? You get actually paid more than a sitting member of Congress if you become like a senior aide, a senior comms director. Um, and so for Buckley to come in at 24 years old, I'm assuming fresh outta college, basically maybe a year or two removed, and suddenly be running the communications department for a member of Congress that is basically trying to challenge emer to become the new chair of the N rcc, that's a, that's a pretty big job that you would want somebody with experience to take.
