It is not like the electorate gave the Dems carte blanche, and after the miserable slate of candidates the GOP put up, that is saying something.
The Dems should not be gloating because, clearly, the electorate stated: We do not Trust the Dems either!
I think Dems should lead by example right now. Thank the voters for the endorsement, show some contrition, and ask what they can do better.
If they don't, down the road, someone like Liz Chaney is going to come along and mop the floor with them.
