The conclusion that China will go to Taiwan/South Korea to be advanced fab chips seems rather suspect, given China's open hostility to Taiwan. In fact, I suspect that any overt action by China to invade Taiwan will insure that Taiwan will takeout their key fabs to thwart China's attempt to grab control of these key commercial facilities.
