he complained “I did not know there was such a thing as 3:30 in the morning until today”. It was like comedy standup.

His boss is probably already getting calls to make sure he is on Christmas weather reporting duty next year, because all can use the laugh.

I used to work in that building at the AM station in the basement. I did weekend overnights — midnight to 6 AM. I would park just to the left of him as you look at the screen. I’ll never forget coming out one Sunday morning to -25. My car wouldn’t start, so I called a friend for a jump. When he got there the hood wouldn’t open. When we finally got that fixed, we couldn’t jump it because the gas line was frozen.

That wasn’t my day.
