... when a foreign automaker (Toyota in particular) ships in fully assembled engines and drive trains to be inserted into bodies made here, is that really "made in America"?

Imagine small American companies selling to Americans. Pftt! free trade and the off shoring of profit. Of course, these companies formed by the entrepreneurs would have to value their workers rewarding them with incentives like vacation time, over-time, etc. like it used to be. Profit sharing would be helpful too. I don't see any other way out. Guess they'd need a stamp to put on their goods saying: "100% Made in America".

campaign. I knew then the sending of jobs overseas was the precursor of America's death. And NOW with what is happening, there can be no eureka moment leading to a reversal of the End Reagan started.
