Russia losing its grip on central Asia - World Today - TVP World

One of Pooty-Poot-Poot’s big mistakes was thinking that what with the British Empire being as dead as decades-old road kill, the Iranians being anti-US, and previous Afghan government being corrupt and incompetent, the Russian Federation would keep all the marbles that it collected during the Czarist expansion and the British default in the Central Asian “Great Game.” It looks like the 21st century Chinese, unlike their 19th century counterparts, have their game on and are better positioned to sideline the Rooskies.
