1. Can someone explain these deals with banks that gives back a percentage of gasoline purchase?

It sounds like the banks are picking up the slack for loss of revenue owing to fewer gas guzzlers.

What needs to happen is weening ourselves off of petroleum, not permitting banks to keep them from facing facts. It's a sham.
