Trump's desperate and dangerous posts, and DOJ's deafening silence - Glenn Kirschner

History often repeats itself, but generally not as quickly as it seems to be this time. After Donald Trump expressly advocated, encouraged and directed a violent attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, in an attempt to unlawfully retain the power of the presidency, he's at it again. Trump just reposted something one of his supporters posted, expressly advocating violence yet again in the event Trump is not made president in 2024.

What's even more surprising than Trump's continued calls to violence is the continued inaction of the Department of Justice to hold Trump accountable for his last insurrection. This inaction is especially inexplicable in light of a ruling from a federal court judge that Donald Trump committed two federal felonies in connection with his last attempt to unconstitutionally remain in office: obstructing an official proceeding and conspiracy to defraud or commit offenses against the United States.

Will the DOJ really await a SECOND attack on our democracy before acting to hold Trump accountable for his crimes? - 02/01/2023.

I have followed him for as long as I have been at Democratic Underground.
His videos are easy to understand, and well documented. He makes the
videos clear and precise in a way that is quite exceptional. In addition, Glenn
clearly knows what he is talking about. His experience makes him great!

As you said, he explains what's currently going on in government and regarding current legal matters in a way that even I can understand - and he has the knowledge and experience to be spot on!

This idea of Trump ..."getting back in" deserves a special post. I will be working on that one.

I am terrified. If we don’t lock up the planner and financiers or the insurrection, they will take power and kill democracy, and we will have let them without so much as a fuss.
I can’t wait to read your post about t.

But in 2020 it was enough of a landslide to get past the Electoral College.
