1. I really like Peter zeihan. Have followed him for a long time now.

He’s been pretty accurate in his assessments, with a very few not spot on. This assessment based totally on history and the numbers, probably spot on.

The one thing he did say that wasn’t correct, according to British and US intel, russian casualties are close to 200k not 100k.

The other thing he never really brings into his assessments regarding the Ukraine war, and I understand why because he deals in hard facts, is the willingness and utter determination of these ppl. Not something that can be measured. The Ukrainians as he mentioned, have continually and consistently surprised us. This will be Russia’s downfall!

2. The last official/unofficial KIA count was close to 130,000

and the wounded are likely double that. So yeah, catastrophic.

There's another way Russian wars end, the guys at the front say "fuck the officers, let's go home" and Russia ends up in a civil war.
