2. Agreed, this was mentioned on several of the news programs last night so we need to hear followup

And, as I said in a previous post, I've been to the Black Sea. I visited the USSR in the late '80s with my grandmother and a peace group that she joined. We visited Sochi, the site of a more recent Olympics, and the Black Sea is a tourist destination in the summer. And things were obviously much different under Gorbachev - and under a traditional Republican president - Reagan. Back then, there was a lot of hope among the Russian people since Gorbachev had instituted more progressive policies, glasnost and perestroika - openness and transparency. But the hard liners in Russia were calling for those to be rolled back due to Reagan's tough stance towards Gorbachev and Russia. What a difference coming from the "Republican" party of today!

6. Yes, i fully agree. Now what are we to do about Russia's behavior?

I feel the ONLY thing we can do is, Fully supply Ukraine with EVERYTHING they request. Don't wait, because we cannot allow russia another freebee here. (plus they have decided to retrieve what they can of OUR equipment) They made a decision, now we can show them, how WRONG they were. Again these are my thoughts.

Yes I agree, supply Ukraine fully so they can win the war.

And we must face reality here in the US that Putin has installed his puppets in the US gov't.
