Though I didn't realize till I heard this that it was an entire weekend! I guess any excuse to celebrate whether you're Irish - or not! I am, on my Dad's side, and those are the relatives I know the best, but the only acknowledgment I was aware of was remembering to wear something green. Though my mother always made corned beef and cabbage - which I can't recall being on the menu when I've actually been in Ireland.
