That's the thing about John Oliver, he exposes abuses on subjects that no one else thinks of.

Like you, I've avoided time shares---but I have damn sure heard the tales of woe.

4. I've heard people say they go to the sales pitch for the free stuff and don't mind.

But I don't believe it, who in their right mind would agree to hours of a pressure sales pitch for tickets or a dinner?

And if you walk out before you don't get the fucking thing anyway.

They approached us in Vegas, my wife thought it would be okay to get tickets to a show, the idea of it almost ruined our vacation, we didn't go though.

The sales folk were salivating over our zip code... no deal. Free dinner though.
