Some of them have actual arsenals of thirty or more weapons, including semi-automatic rifles, AK-47s, Uzis.

I know this because I talk to them and they tell me, fervently and in great detail, about their gun collections, about their newest acquisitions, about how much money they spend on them.

Even a casual howdy-do often turns into a bragging session about their weapons.

Knowing that my neighbors are heavily armed, that their children have access to these guns, that thieves target homes with gun collections, does not make me feel safer.
