6. Not really, IMO. Nazis weren't interested in "rescuing" minority children, only killing them.

Republicans DON’T want to help you. They just don’t. It’s not in their bone marrow. It’s not who they are. I’d ordinarily say it’s not in their hearts to reach out and help, or even recognized the need to help - because - “heart”? They don’t have one.

Don’t EVER forget their most foundational belief: Cruelty is the point. Some might try to characterize it as a form of “tough love.” They can call it whatever they want. It’s just plain heartlessness and cruelty. The “teach ‘em a lesson” approach, the “serves you right, sucker!” approach. Go do it yourself. Don’t expect any help. Why do we have to help YOU? Go get yer own! Some would try to do the lipstick-on-a-pig approach and fall back on the old stale cosmeticians “rugged individualism” baloney. Cuz somehow that might make heartlessness and cruelty and neglect seem nicer and softer and more palatable. What my dad used to call “IGMFU.” “I Got Mine, F-U.” (And he was only partly joking.)

Cruelty. Cruelty is the point. Certainly true if YOU’RE the one who gets to be the punisher and not the punished.
