San Francisco Republicans hosting anti-trans 'parental rights night' exposed by columnist - The ReidOut

Over a week ago, Soleil Ho, an opinion columnist and cultural critic for the San Francisco Chronicle, walked into a "parental rights night" event hosted by San Francisco Republicans. What Soleil saw was so horrifying, mean and vile, they went straight home and threw up.

The event was billed as an attempt at, "detangling the transgender narrative surrounding our children" and was filled with gross attacks and misinformation. Soleil Ho joins The ReidOut with Joy Reid to discuss. - Aired on 05/23/2023.

2. It took me 29 years to realize I was trans

I had those thoughts as a child when I was playing with dolls or letting my cousins dress me up. I felt happy and enjoyed it. It didn't just happen overnight, it took a long time to realize I had dysphoria. Kids and teens alike are feeling maybe society is more accepting now, but sadly I guess not. Its not books or any type of shit that brainwashes these kids which I find irony in this considering conservatives are brainwashed as kids from the church and later in life from dickhead talking heads from Fox News to fucking YouTube shit for brains like Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro, etc.

Conservatives are losing badly because they are losing the white majority, religion is dying, youth is break the precedent and not becoming conservative as they age. They have no choice but to embrace full on fascism, genocide and theocracy.

3. And what's truly unforgivable, the far right is more worried about gender identity

Than the one abomination that is killing kids - the ready availability of guns.

4. Of all the places in America you could try this bullshit...

...I would have never thought San Francisco would be one of them. The City is FULL of LGBT people, and they are by and large harmless. YES, there are bad people in that community, as there are in any other community - but the vast majority of child molesters identify as straight and Christian.

Kids aren't stupid, especially in San Francisco. Groups like Moms for Liberty might stand up there talking about how trans people are evil and awful types who want nothing more than to turn boys into girls, and the kids will think "but I know twenty people who are trans, and they're just like everyone else. All they want is to live their lives. None of them have ever tried to turn me into a girl." You might be able to pull that shit in Wyoming where trans people are required to conceal who they are for fear of getting the shit beat out of them on a regular basis, but San Francisco isn't like that.
