US President Barack Obama holds 5-year-old Madison Debera as he greets people after speaking about the importance of American workers developing American-made energy to an economy thats built to last at the UPS in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 26, 2012. Obama denied Republican claims he was waging class warfare as he set out to sell his call for tax hikes on the rich in states crucial to his reelection bid.

The kid is cute, too!
I love the way children respond to him. You can usually tell a person's character by the reactions of children and animals.

but you can always tell a person's character by the way they react to kids. Not just their own, but others, too. It's something that I find can't be faked, even by great actors (You can tell in certain movies, actors who don't care for kids or don't care either way can cry on cue, but interacting with kids is always transparent).
