And while I know it's not a new found point of discussion, can someone please enlighten my dimwit brain as to WHY no one ever brings up the finer points of "a well regulated militia" ??? I guess that passage has been hashed out and settled before I started paying attention some decades ago. Regulated HOW? Regulated by WHO? Wouldn't a regulatory system require a new beauracracy to extend and enforce the regulations???
As to the guns - er, Arms - I would think it allows for folks to own any sorta weapon. I mean - isn't "arms" a pretty broad term as applied to weaponry??? Shouldn't I be allowed to own an F-22 or a Raptor drone? Geez, I've got a bonehead neighbor I'd dearly LOVE to circle a drone over, day and night. After all - it SAYS "Arms" - not "guns".
