Bernie leads the way.

"What is Harry Reid afraid of?"--- Ed Schultz

Reid isn't afraid of the Republicans.
The LAST thing the "Centrist" New Democrat leadership want is a clear legislative majority.
They would lose their excuse for inaction.

"Its not OUR fault.
We might not have had 60 votes,
so what could we doooooooo."

I am tired of people saying that Dems lack backbone. Call it what it is, these men and women elected by the people answer to Special Interests, not the people. Dems cave because they were paid in campaign contributions to cave. Maybe Reed really wanted to change the rule but did not have the votes. If that was the case, then make those Dems cast their vote against so we know who to replace. The gloves need to come off! Reed, a former boxer should know that taking the gloves off in this respect does not mean head to the showers. This crap will continue until things get so bad for average Americans that their cable gets cut off. Only then will they get off of the couch and do something. I will keep repeating this; The only thing we need to correct this, in fact it is the only thing that will correct our problems, is COMPLETE CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM!!! This would be the mother of all wars, because big business wll not allow us to regain our representative democracy w/o a fight. You only have to look at what they did to OWS to see behind the curtain. The right to peaceably assemble is being taken away. The severe response by the police in NY was brought on by a donation to the NY police retirement fund. They try to control us through corporate media and all we can do is keep fighting and spread the truth about what is happening. The good news is that more and more, the average American is starting to see through their charade! Unlike OWS, we need strong leadership and focus only on getting enough people elected that can resist the temptations of corruption and push for real reform. With enough citizens behind us we can affect the change we need!
