I've been advised to make an introductory post today with my 10th post ......

I am marble falls who got locked out in the hack of '16.

I didn't try to post untill about six months after the election - I literally stayed off my computer and depressed for about six months. When I tried to get back on as marble falls, my e-mail somehow didn't get me back on so in June I created this account but didn't post until today.

I still have hopes of reclaiming my 10,000 post plus marble falls account again, but we'll see if it is even possible as I only contacted skinner about it today.

I've been posting on alternet as bobsal and it just doesn't have the buzz for me a DU does.

It's hard working your way to 10,000 posts. I'd be crushed if I lost my 8395 count. It's taken me 14 years to get there.

14. Its being worked on. Further complicated by a change in e-mails when I got locked out .....

yahoo in 2015 for four months. For the life of me I cannot remember that e-mail and I must have failed to replace it with my yahoo address when I got the yahoo snafu straightened.

We've missed you! That's the best idea, contacting the admins, they should be able to help you reinstate your original account. They did that for a whole lot of us after the hack!

Same thing happened to me after the hack, as it happened to so many of us! I knew I didn't have the mental fortitude to start over after so long - so glad you persevered and the admins got your account reinstated. Here's to another 10,000 posts!
