Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsOur 32nd wedding anniversary today!
We just celebrated with some excellent New Haven pizza I love: clam and garlic and watched some football.
I'm wishing for a year of health and well being for ourselves and our loved ones. I refuse to let Trump ruin my life and I want to live in peace. I hope that's not too tall an order...

I had originally planned to have a little party where we repeated our vows but I thought that would be corny and iffy weatherwise.
Happy anniversary, TexasProgresive!

It was a Club Med IIRC...

He is experiencing a long recovery period from spinal surgery but is having physical therapy and it's paying off. We have made our house handicap accessible.

(63,912 posts)No, it was a fairly nice one nearby called "Grimaldi." Oh, and it's "apizza" in New Haven, mind you. It's from our Italian immigrants to New Haven calling it La Pizza, only the L got dropped...

(31,384 posts)My son , who is a grad student at Yale, likes the pizza at Bar. Last time we were there we ordered what has become a new favorite for him: shrimp and bacon. It was delicious.

(6,261 posts)Our 32nd is in 5 days. Assuming we make it, of course.
We celebrated our original wedding with pizza for ourselves and the best man. That, the license, and the justice of the peace were about the extent of the expenses for that day.
We lasted longer than any of our friends who had big weddings....

So not really all that cheap after all then.
