Just the other day she was saying how she much prefers her weather to what we have in Michigan. Oops!

However, I'm just not that concerned. I'll WFH tomorrow and I have some food, so I'm not too worried. Maybe I should be.

High potential for power lines down, from snow or wind or both.

That could be deadly for some people who have only electric heat.

to not make it this far west... chapel hill ... but it did and we got a healthy inch of fine snow and every flake stuck as we've not been above freezing for several days, and down in low teens at nite... no big deal right?
I live 8 miles from work, and we closed early so staff could get home safe... I stopped at the store for a bottle of vino, I have milk and bread 😁
and then spent 1 1/2 hours trying to get home 😳 cars abandoned, pileups of multiple vehicles, people with NO clue how to drive spinning wheels and blocking both lanes of interstate... I'm in a BMW my boss lent me while my truck is in repair and could have cruised by it all, but the jams have traffic backed up for miles... I finally made it and saw my first snowplow about 1/2 mile from home... it will have to be cleared as temps are crashing for the next 3 days so nothing will be melting any time soon .... all of this clusterfuck over 1 INCH of very fine snow 😖
