I saw this on Facebook. It's listed as "Eagles" with James Taylor and his All-Star Band. They are also doing shows with Jimmy Buffett and Chris Stapleton.
Who is in this line-up?
Yes Don Henley is.
The Eagles Don Henley, Joe Walsh & Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey that's Glenn's son - have added four more An Evening with the Eagles concerts: Thursday, May 3 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Vivint Smart Home Arena; Saturday, May 5 in Portland, Oregon at the Moda Center; Tuesday, May 8 in Spokane, Washington at the Spokane Arena; and Saturday, September 8 in Phoenix, Arizona at the Talking Stick Resort Arena. Tickets for these newly announced concerts go on sale Friday, January 12 at 10 AM local time through Ticketmaster.com. A full listing of 2018 tour dates can be found below.

(23,738 posts)Demand to see the Eagles live has never waned. The History of the Eagles tour -- presumably their last -- grossed $253 million and sold over 2 million tickets to 147 shows, according to a source with the band. Since reuniting in 1994, the Eagles have reported 564 shows totaling $850 million in gross and 8.8 million tickets sold; given that the Boxscore total is short by approximately one-third, it is safe to assume that the Eagles have grossed over $1 billion and been seen by 10 million fans worldwide.

(22,063 posts)$174 per ticket? For the cheap seats?
Eagles are my all time favorite band, and Don Henley the best lyricist. I've seen Henley solo, and he puts on a great show. But unless the Frey kid sounds a lot like his dad, I don't see how they can pull off the harmonies. Is that where Vince Gill is supposed to come in?
Maybe this is a Glenn Frey tribute?

Yes I think Gill is there for the harmonies. The son thing makes me think of Zeppelin trotting out Bonham's son on drums.
