It with butter and molasses. So when I saw saw it on the menu I was stoked. Was a little sweater than I remember.

but wilted lettuce salad...dressing made from a small amount of bacon fat, vinegar, sugar poured over the salad warm. Mom always served it with lamb on Easter. Yummy

corn bread is common. Rest of canada I do not know if it is popular so much. I knew i could count on Americans to school me on the proper way to enjoy it.

(the first few days of "low carb" are always the hardest. sigh....)
