This is a difficult question for me to answer because there are so many hilarious scenes to choose from....It's like trying to choose your favorite scene from Blazing Saddles.
I loved the scene at the antique store where Borat knocks over a table, breaks everything on it, and then says: "those can be glued back together."
I also loved the scene at the segregationist's house, after using the bathroom, he puts his poop in a plastic bag and tries to give it to the lady of the house.
Later on he calls a black hooker and invites her over, which greatly angers all the segregationists.
I guess my favorite scene was near the beginning of the film, after he arrives in New York City.
He goes on a crowded subway, tries to kiss men on both cheeks as he introduces himself to them, then his chicken gets out of his suitcase and runs around the subway car.

(62,444 posts)That movie is atrocious on many levels, not to mention Cohen's cruel exploitation of an unwitting town in Romania which he humiliated:

One local girl, 'cast' as Borat's sister, is described as the 'number-four prostitute in the whole of Kazakhstan'. An elderly lady unwittingly plays the part of Borat's '47-year-old' mother. The village mechanic is cast as the local abortionist. All of them were dumbfounded - their horror captured by a TV crew who returned to Glod to witness the aftermath of the Borat bandwagon for a forthcoming documentary. In Storyville: When Borat Came To Town, they show the fallout among villagers as they confront their humiliation and try to seek legal recompense.
The people in the "this is my town" segment had no idea what he was saying about them. Not only were they unpaid for their use in the film, but they were duped and ridiculed.
The documentary can be found online, and I highly suggest it.
It is more interesting viewing than Borat itself.

(27,875 posts)When Borat premiered in Tel Aviv, the audiences reportedly gave standing ovations when it ended.
I've heard Sasha Baron Cohen interviewed a few times (twice on "Fresh Air" and what's really funny is that his "real" accent is British, which is as different from Borat's accent as you can get
Also, I think he said that the police were called at least 30 times during the filming of Borat and the other film, "Bruno"
