Well, a year and one day, I watched him from Disney onward, always one of my favorites.

I'll take "The Thing"

First watched on a Bering Sea Crab Boat, doing oil charters in 1984, at night during a storm on wheel watch with the other two crew members asleep.

I always loved the original in B/W and requested the movie off a list from the drilling rigs collection.

I didn't know what I was getting

So I watched the scariest movie I'd ever seen at night in a storm with the boat pitching and rolling and windy as hell.

Now that was an intense viewing experience.

Miracle is the story of the underdog US Men's Hockey team that defeated the Russian Men's Hockey team in the 1980 Winter Olympics to win a spot in the championship game with Finland,
(who they went on to defeat 4-2 to win the Gold medal)

Russell won an Emmy for his portrayal of Elvis.

UPDATE:3:30 PM
Elvis got a vote!

The only one up there with zero votes is "Miracle"

I could put "Used Cars" up there in place of "Miracle"....Let's see if it gets any more mentions.

It does sound like a very good movie.
(I'm a huge fan of Jack Warden)

I think the only poll choice left with zero votes is "Miracle"..but i'm reluctant to replace it with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 based only on one person's recommendation.

I'm sure it's a good film, Rotten Tomatoes gave it an approval rating of 83%.& most of the critics gave it positive reviews.

Let's see if anyone else wants it on the list.
