8. Jeopardy

Not only pre-empted, but it was scheduled to be recorded late in the evening, and I didn't even get it then. Some game must have gone on longer than predicted, and I got a boat-load of Wheel of Fortune and very little Jeopardy and certainly no final Jeopardy.

so I know what you mean.
That online site with the extra questions can give you a flavor of the show and I thing they have the final Jeopardy question, but not the answer.

Better luck tonight.

I don't get the whole basketball thing to begin with. Screwing up everyone's March is even worse.

Teams are usually folks from different backgrounds working towards a common goal. Last night the best players on Nevada's team were two twins from rural NC that frankly probably would have never gone west of the Mississippi if not for hoops.

The most successful teams tend to be the most unselfish ones.

It can be a thing of beauty when it's done right.

the other 500 (???? not in this house) have at least 20 sports channels....

I say put the sports on the sports channels and leave the rest of us to what we know and love.

If not, March Madness should remain where it belongs:

On free TV so folks can enjoy it without enriching cable companies.

And it used to drive me crazy when I was responsible for the TV listings for CBS, we had to put together the schedule for a month in advance. It used to give me headaches.

Tonight and Monday April 2 are the last weeknights it will ruin your evening viewing. Hang in there; it'll soon be the endless Stanley Cup playoffs screwing up the viewing plans of non-fans.

Many kids in low income families dream of getting a sports scholarship to be able to go to college. To suggest that NCAA sports should be on pay per view is kinda disgusting, as they can’t afford to watch.

BTW, I knew a young woman who did a summer internship with “Jeopardy.” She said it was all kinds of fixed, and Alex Trebek was a lecherous to the nth degree.
