It probably is. The first photos I saw made the tufted titmouse look very blue ...

... which surprised me because I had thought it was gray. Other pictures show it gray. But if it's in NC, it's probably a tufted titmouse.
My mom's family calls WV home, but I don't think I've ever actually seen a tufted titmouse in the wild, so it got a little too much attention from me.
