PAUL SIMON'S "FAREWELL" TOUR - DATES & LOCATIONS

PAUL SIMON CURRENTLY ON "HOMEWARD BOUND" FAREWELL TOUR

[From Rolling Stone Magazine, Feb. 5, 2018]

"I've often wondered what it would feel like to reach the point where I'd consider bringing my performing career to a natural end.
Now I know: it feels a little unsettling, a touch exhilarating and something of a relief," Simon said in a statement.

"I love making music; my voice is still strong, and my band is a tight, extraordinary group of gifted musicians.
I think about music constantly.
I am very grateful for a fulfilling career and, of course, most of all to the audiences who heard something in my music that touched their hearts."

The North American leg of Simon's Farewell Tour began May 16.

2. There are still some scalper tickets available for Antwerp on July 5th. That's the closest to me.

Amsterdam that weekend is already sold out. My wife and I saw him here in Germany 30 years ago for the Graceland tour, and it was brilliant.

I wonder if there are any tickets left for the final performance in London?

Paul Simon blanked on the lyrics on "Cool River," and as penance interrupted the set list to do "a song I LOATHE."

Any guesses as to the song?

He started slowly, but by the third song, he started to hit his stride. He had 14 backing vocalists/musicians who were versatile and good whether they were doing backing vocals, playing, or whatever. Glad we went.
