Humidity Hair

I vowed, when I went through a summer of chemo 11 years ago and was as bald as a cue ball, that I'd never complain about having a"bad hair day" again.

But gosh, I'm getting tired of my summer humidity hair. I feel like a 61-year old Little Orphan Annie.

right now and yes it's Little Orphan Annie like plus it's red. Took lots of teasing, even now and I'm nearly 66.

I still have a lot of frizzy fly-aways, but it's a bit more manageable. You can always use hairspray when it's wet and pulled back and it will stay like that until you comb it out again.

Find a hair stylist with "Deva Cut" training. They specialize in cutting curly hair to enhance your curls instead of fighting them. You'll have fewer bad hair days. It may cost more per haircut, but you won't have to get your hair cut as often.

Lots of tips here too.

At least hair that fluffs up in humidity still looks like hair.

When I lived in Michigan, my hair was like RoseAnne Rosanadana's.

Now I live in the Mojave Desert and my hair behaves for the most part. The only trouble now is that the hair around my face is very very fine and it tickles my face mercilessly.

...didn't rinse it, and left it all day. It looked greasy, but I wasn't going anywhere. The next day, I didn't wash it, just rinsed it, and my curls stayed put. Three days on, it still looks better than if I'd done nothing.
