(24,931 posts)LOL Our dog would freak out.
Ive had has been terrified of the vacuum. One of them did eventually get brave enough to try and bite the cord. Guess he thought maybe it would kill the monster vacuum.

(23,099 posts)She also hated vacuums with a passion. She'd bow up her back, jump on it hissing, growling & scratching, and try to destroy the cord. We had to lock her up in a bathroom to protect the cleaner she was determined to destroy. It was funny when I'd run the vacuum near her, she'd jump in the air, run away then run right back and attack.

(2,993 posts)Most cats view them as simulated prey. One of my current cats, Laurel, knows good and well its a non-corporeal dot emanating from an object in my hand, but stalks it with the same intensity shed give biological prey.
But Isaac? Hed swiftly leave the room.

(9,265 posts)Our Charlie knows where we keep the laser pointer and goes there and meows begging to play, and goes nuts chasing the dot. His brother Andy lays there and watches.
Have you seen the ads for a little drone for cats? Looks like loads of fun but at $200 it MIGHT be a Xmas present, maybe.
