Can someone direct me regarding getting

satellite radio for my car (or what I'd need for podcasts)? I'm starting a new job on Monday (Yea!!!!) that I'm very excited about. Having said that, it's going to be quite a commute (from Redondo Beach to The Valley). I LOVE good radio, podcasts, etc. so I'm totally okay with the drive. I just need to know what I need to do/get. My car is a 2007 Honda Accord. I know I could google it but I thought someone here might know the first step I could take without me having to reinvent the wheel....Thank you

You could download the podcasts you like to your phone. You can play them in the car over the sound system via a cassette tape or cd adapter. Or if there is a little plug in the glovebox or center councilwoman, this is what I do or have done.

Congrats on the job.

The problem with that is the data limit I have on my phone. However, I can see about possibly getting on another plan or even with another carrier...Thanks!

I know nothing about them, just what I see on the Best Buy web site, but they seem practical.

It would definitely be worth it to me. I'll check out Best Buy. That's a first step. Thank you!

The receiver rebroadcasts to FM. I have several FM stations programmed in the receiver so I can change stations if I drive into an area where I get interference from a station.

It ain't elegant but it works. Someday, I'll buy a new truck which must have satellite radio built in.

I rigged a mount for the receiver below the radio. Scrap metal and electrical tape. Again, it ain't elegant but it's an old truck.
