All European Final Four in the World Cup

Uruguay and Brazil both lost today, so it will be France and Belgium as two of the final four, and the winners of England/Sweden and Russia/Croatia as the other two.

Amazing that even with an all European Final 4, there is no Italy, no Germany and no Netherlands in it. Not to mention no Spain and no Portugal, though those teams did make the Round of 16.

But that would require them showing up for all 90 minutes and cashing in in their chances, like DeBruyne did.

Neymar might also do a little soul searching. His reputation preceded him on a number of potential fouls. Plus wasn’t it nice to watch him repeatedly bounce back up off the pitch and get on with it because down 2-0 there was no time for theatrics that the ref wasn’t going to buy into anyway.

They have a few world class players like Kevin De Bruyne, and when they play as a team they are outstanding.

He did not have a bad game today to be fair, but he should've scored at least one.

He was clear on two occasions.

In the end if you can draw defenders so that others can score it really doesn't matter in the end.

Pickford was MOTM for me.

Next up Croatia or Russia.

On paper Croatia look stronger but this has been a wild World Cup.

I'd have my čevapčiči and pleskavica flown in from Zagreb until after the match.
