we find humor where we can these days...

just a little personal story... I live in West Danville Vermont on a small lake. There is a very popular contest every year called "Ice Out" (see video)

I found an email in my box this morning with the subject heading "ICE Out of West Danville Now!" Now I know that the Ice went out in May this year so I was flummoxed... it has been way too hot for ice on the pond right now...

seems the email was a petition to ask cities not to comply with ICE Officials...

Refreshing to watch, too. I miss/ long for the cool weather, and enjoy a real 4 seasons climate.

Here in eastern NC, summer lasts from mid- April to December, it seems of late. Many days in the 90's and above and humid.
I'm originally from the Adirondack Park, section of New York State.
