me to add about 80grams of protein a day as you will lose so much muscle mass due to healing. I got those protein powder and made lots of protein drinks. 80 grams a day was hard for me. Good luck with the healing! Glad you're well!

Dr Weil recommends a ton of Vitamin C which is great for healing tissue. I even had some in my drip during surgery and I healed so fast the nurses couldn't believe it.

had prostate and bladder surgery in January-February for cancer and severely enlarged prostate. May you heal well and completely. So far so good for me.

of person. But learned with surgeries over the last couple of years that taking the pain drugs actually helps with healing as you don't feel the pain so much and can actually do the stretches and exercises recommended by the doctor.

My good friend had it done at age 53. It was kind of rough at the very beginning, but it did not take too long for him to be feeling fine again. Hang in there man!
