Moved away to the big city a long time ago but the blood banks still call us.
My wife and I, having endured the sorts of medical misadventures that can happen to anyone, shit falling out of the sky kind of stuff, are no longer anybody's type. We still tick the organ donor box on our driver's licenses should it ever happen that anyone wants them.

I swear the Red Cross starts calling me well more than a month before I can donate before many drives are even on the schedule. I get that I'm a universal donor and big enough to donate doubles, but they are relentless.
