Sitting here listening to queen innuendo

I know Freddie was dying from AIDS ,to me the album sounds like a obituary to what he had and what he had not gained.

And the desperation and fear of having full blown AIDS in the 1990 it was a death sentence. I feel compassion for him his fear and terror listening to innuendo.

His voice still sends a tingle up my spine.

Gone too soon. Thanks for sharing this and reminding me.

There is so much going on in that album- so much genuine emotion, acceptance of the inevitable, etc- one of my all-time favorite Queen albums. As a long-time fan, the minute I heard it, I knew he was dying- it was so obvious that this was his way of saying goodbye. Although the previous album, "The Miracle" had a lot of hints about what was coming, as well.

BTW, TEB, if you're a Queen fan, I've got an article coming out in the September issue of "Gaming and Destinations" magazine about their upcoming Vegas residency. Some hardcore Queen fans were pretty perturbed about Adam Lambert joining forces with Roger and Brian- I've been a fan since 1976, and can say without any doubt that this is as good as it gets. Adam isn't a replacement by any means, but he certainly does justice to their legacy, and it is an amazing concert. I saw them in 1978, 1981, and then again last year- still an amazing concert.
