(6,113 posts)1. That was heartwarming. I enjoyed every bit ot it. nt
I was in a woman's shelter and brought my two cats in, Mustafa and Pepper, since they are an emotional support for me.
Now I have my own place, and they are still with me!

(9,535 posts)3. We have two orange tabbies that were our daughter's;
She rescued them as kittens and had them at her apt., but after her car got stolen she needed to move and couldn't find a place where she could keep her cats. We took them in "temporarily" and eight years later, they are still here --- happy in our large home, and she couldn't imagine taking them back to a small place.
We have two dogs, too, but the tomcat rules the roost, often snoozing on the dog beds, and keep me company when working at my home office too.
