It's just like one of those stories you read online! Woman reconnects with high school boyfriend...
My friend has been unhappy in her marriage for the last few years. I knew she was waiting to divorce her husband after her kids had graduated from high school.
She got an email or FB message from an old boyfriend. He tried to find her for two years but he didn't know her married name and she has a really common given name so google wasn't much help. He finally found her through a mutual friend and sent her a message: he'd like to contact her. She said okay. They talked. And talked. And then she decided to divorce her husband of 20 years and start a new life with him.
She dropped this information on me a few weeks ago. This was me:
Me: Who is this guy? You never mentioned him before. Well he's the love of her life that she dated for two summers (he was on the West coast, she the East).
What do you know about him? Married twice, two kids. He wants her to move to California.
What about your kids? They want to finish school here. They can visit me and decide where they want to live.
She told me many more details that I'd rather not share and I was still:
