I am almost done paying off mine. It's been a long road and I was screwed without realizing it (also a long story). Colleges cost more today but thankfully the rates havent reached the levels they had when I signed my last one 8.25%

It's exactly what student loans are. The people who dreamed this system up and the people who profit from it are sick.
