Quick question about the DU jury process.

You have 4 choices when on jury.

If you select "It doesn't quite break the rules", is that counted as a vote to delete the post in question?

To me it's more like a borderline post and not egregious enough to be deleted. But I may be wrong.

click on "It doesn't quite break the rule" when I think it's borderline but think it should stand. "Close call" to me simply means the post/comment is not that bad but still breaks the rule and should be deleted.

I looked for some clarification in DU's documentation about Jury Service, but couldn't find an answer to this specific issue.

Some explanations can be quite ambiguous! There are days when we just punt and hope for the best!

last two are a vote to keep.

I'm pretty much so pro-free speech that I almost never vote to hide a post (racist and personal attacks are about the only things I will hide as they add nothing to a debate) but I admit I am unsatisfied with the current jury system. I liked it when I could explain why I voted what I voted and when the jurors got the explanations. I understand this is probably less drama but but bleah anyway. I learned shit from reading jury comments.

I just didn't want to click on "It doesn't quite break the rule" intending to keep the post, when actually it was a vote to delete.

Wouldn't the "Community Help" forum be more appropriate?
