I don't know about the US, but most countries ban any form of electioneering, including signs, near voting centres.

i was poll greeting for democrats this weekend
i think it's within 50 feet but that could vary from state to state or district to district, i don't know

This was years ago. I handed them my voter I.D. card. It said, "NP" for No Party.

One of the elderly women behind the desk says, "What does NP stand for?"

And the other one says, "Not Republican."
