Intriguing movie/The Favorite. And Robin Hood 2018 (not).
So, I'm not a buff/gourmet/connaisseur/whatever. Am a "Gladiator" type. Anyway, so The Favorite might drive me to an actual movie house. Think about it, a mad monarch (SHITLER). As for Robin Hood 2018, a review said it was a ripoff of Batman, whatever. Am Searching my zipcode for The Favorite.

Lets Talk About That Last Shot in The Favourite
As Anne digs her hand into Abigails hair, Lanthimos performs a magic trick. The image warps and distends, and the two womens faces are superimposed over one another: Theyre caged together in a hell of their own making, one wrought through deceit and greed. And then, terrifyingly, Lanthimos adds the rabbits to this collage, and it grows trippier and more addled until we fade to black. If The Favourite has been set somewhat apart from Lanthimoss filmography up to that moment, this shot provides a bridge, stamping the movie with his signature brand of psychological terror that conveys a deeper meaning.

And finally, if you took a couple days to make it out of the house, The Favourite makes a slightly late debut, dropping into theaters on Friday, November 23AKA Black Friday. Why is that relevant? Because The Favourite is all about rivalry, getting what you want, and being a little dark while you do it. Also, it's a British period piece, so of course they snuck around the most American holiday. Psh, red coats.
