and "Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark" were popular plays on my cassette deck in The 80s. Also, look for Robert Cray as one of Otis Day's Knights in Animal House.

(4,572 posts)6. I used to see him play every few weeks at a small bar in Salem, Oregon...
we would stand literally a few feet from the stage, and he would give us his guitar pick at the end of the night. He was living in Eugene then, just about to hit it big. Trivia: he's in the band in the movie Animal House, filmed in Eugene in 1978. He's still going strong, with a great recent album (a little more soul than blues).
