2. Not just you, this is indeed the radio edit ... original is about 5:30 long not 4:09.

At around the 3:30 mark in this vid, it totally changes from how the original goes ...

In the original, bono does the uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh ... then that goes into the AAAAAAAH! OH MAYBE THE TIME IS RIGHT, OH MAYBE TONIGHT! and then there's the 'i will be with you again' sung a few times, then there's the final verse, with the golden age part of which you speak. And yeah, that section is the best part!

Instead in this radio edit we just get about 30 seconds of the 'real' last 1:30, which is only the 'i will be with you again' sung a few times, then a hasty end without the last proper verse.

I believe this version is slightly sped up as well. Either that or there's something else missing from the original earlier in the song, because the 'uh-uh-uh-uh-uh' part is at 3:57 in the original and it's at around 3:20 here.
