Record player/turntable help! My adult daughter wants to go vinyl...

and is overwhelmed with choices. I’m not much help technology wise.
Her budget is $150 max.
Any input??
She doesn’t have a big speaker system but does have a big smart TV with a decent sound bar.
Any all-in-ones that are good? With connections to her current iPhone? Recording options for flash drives?
She likes retro-looking.

Thanks, buds, in advance

that has AM/FM, CD, cassette tape, and turntable. Although I really like the ability to play my old vinyls. I find that the quality of the speakers is really bad. There is no way to hook up better ones. So, I rarely use it.

But that's th he way they sounded in the late 40s when I was growing up. I never really heard "bass" until I got an RCA orthophonic hifi unit in 1956. Just in time for Elvis.

a phono preamp, which she will need to step up the signal from the cartridge to a level where it can drive the sort of amp that can be driven by an iPod or mp3 player.

Depending on how yard sales are in her area, she might find one there too.

Tell her to shop antique malls and flea market for records. Remember that condition is the main factor in price. Look hard and find great deals.

Can transcribe from albums to digital if wanted. Ours has never let us down and we have OLD albums from the 50's through mid 80"s.

I’ve seen Wockoder brand on Amazon. All in one style.
Any idea about the quality on these?

I would have bought it.

Yes kids, at on time we had these massive wood cabinets that looked like a high end buffet table that had a receiver, turntable and speakers all in one.

God I loved that beast.
