The level of production is through the roof. Every episode has the quality of a top feature film production wise. It's that good.
It's a fantastic story, although of course as a fan I'm biased. You might want to look into getting HBO Go. It's $14.95 a month, cancel at any time. They may have all the previous seasons.

I read somewhere that the battle scenes -may- be the best ever on TV or film. That's a very high bar obviously so we'll see. I'm ready for Sunday!

I always thought the one battle scene in "Braveheart" was epic, but i have a feeling this final scene in Game of Thrones may put all battle scenes to shame...

Not a spoiler as I have avoided all them of them somewhat miraculously. But if you've been watching the series you know what I mean.

I'm good as long as all the "Starks", the wolves and the dragons survive. And the imp is a trip, him as well.

has diverged somewhat from the books.

Not that I've either read the books or watched the series. Fantasy just doesn't do it for me.

I will add that George RR Martin is a very nice and low key guy.

but little plot, little character development, little imagination.

Great special effects ... for a minute.

there are some shows that really need to be seen on a big screen, versus laptop size screen, and this is one.

someone gave us 27 inch touch screen computer recently, needed a minor repair, easy peasy for Mr. Dixie to do, and now it sits ready for the new season of GOT.

handy hint.....cats loved the big screen loop video of birds, and of fish in an aquarium, but since it is a touch screen, and cats are cats.......
