And this is how you play a perfect round in Snooker.

Just look at the amazing shot at 2:45

The rules of Snooker are simple:
* The red balls are 1 point each, the odd-colored balls are 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 points.
* If an odd-colored ball is scored, it gets put back into the game.
* You may not score two odd-colored balls in a row.
* In order to get the maximum amount of points, you must play red-black-red-black-red-black... until all the red balls are gone and then score the colored balls in order.

The maximum amount of points is 147. You get a bonus, if you score that in a tournament.

Ronnie O'Sullivan thought the price-money was too low, so to mock the organizers he played for 146-0, even though he could easily have played for 147-0.
The important shots are at 6:00, when he goes for pink (6 points), instead of black (7 points).

So long ago. I believe it was rotation ? Where you sink the balls in order ? I was floating on air.

The table is larger and the pockets are smaller and less forgiving.

I used to play "rotation" in college... hustled pool to make extra money.

running the table in rotation depended on the break. But yes, it is a fun feeling to run the table and not give your opponent any shots.

My best buddy and I would hit a few bars after dropping off our dates and play 8 Ball as partners for beers. As luck would have it, there was a bar in my family and my Uncle kept open way past closing and you came thru the family kitchen. There was a point after a few drinks where I was loose enough to make most of my shots, but that was a very narrow window. Never played snooker and don't think I would try.
