Saw a side of Trooper I've never seen! The guy jumped back over and I think he may have hurt himself doing it.
But Trooper is proud of himself. And I'm proud of him! That was scary!

(14,120 posts)And Trooper will be happy to see them. He likes cops. I just have to keep telling him their not here to draft him and no he can't take a ride in the police car...

(2,191 posts)But yes, a police report (I know you already called) might prompt more patrols.
A dog who will bark is a great asset.

(14,120 posts)Police are here. They took my statement, found a little pocket on the patio, which kinda gives me the whilies.
They are out checking around the complex now because it look like the guy hurt himself.
Have to admit the response time was faster than I expected, a good thing.

(9,426 posts)I had a gentle female "Jody" a mixed breed and beautiful. One time at the vet's office a stranger asked if he could pet her. I said he could, and as he reached over to her, she gave out a low growl and bared her teeth! I was shocked. Obviously something about him did not feel right to my girl. Dogs really are amazing. So glad Trooper did his duty protecting you.

(14,120 posts)He's a mix breed too. I've known part of his breeding was pit bull. But this is the first time I saw him looking like that breed.
It was as if Clarke Kent took off his glasses and turned into Thanos. And he was ready to snap his fingers on this guy before he could snap his on me

(9,426 posts)a fox. Got her when the kids were all young. A neighbor wanted to dump her, and I offered to take her to the pound. Kept her overnight, and the kids fell in love with her. Next day, I was determined to take her to the pound, and set off with 3 crying kids and the dog. The pound was closed that day! I was explaining (as a single mother) that having a dog is expensive, she would have to be spayed. My older son said "Mom, you can have my allowance to buy a spade" All the crying stopped while they waited for the offer to be considered. Needless to say, we kept her. Great dog, very well behaved. Loving and protective, that was Jody. Had her for 15 years.
