If there's anyone who follows scenario #1 above, it's my dad. "Dead at 30, buried at ...." -- well, actually, he's still alive, but has spent the last several years sadly moping that he's got only a little time left, and using that as an excuse not to take in interest in much of anything. Watch him live to be 90. What a waste.
